Staff Profiles

Monowar Syed migrated to the US in 2007 with hopes of a better life and a brighter future. Growing up in a small village in Bangladesh, he had witnessed his father help the community. He helped get clean drinkable water to the villagers, electricity in houses, and helped people claim the rights to their lands. So, like his father, helping the community was always an important core value that was instilled in him early on.
But the question still remained: How will I help my community? How will I give back? So, he helped the community the best way he knew how: As a professional Accountant. Monowar graduated from Walsh

College with a Major in Accounting. He started off as a corporate accountant. Though he gained extensive knowledge about the accounting field, he was not satisfied as he was unable to work with people directly. Thus, preventing Monowar from creating a relationship with people on a more personal level.

In 2015, Monowar Syed and his wife Nadia Choudhury, an accountant herself, founded Total Solutions. With the extensive knowledge in the diverse range of the accounting field, Total Solutions Accounting has allowed Monowar to help people on a more personal level. He is able to help small businesses reach full potential; offer unconditional consultation that has allowed businesses to focus more on the growth of their business; and help people to get the best of out of their annual tax returns. Having his own practice, Monowar is able to help advocate for the people of his community to apply for benefits, apply for family members whom are overseas, and other struggles due to limited access to resources.

So, combining their corporate and public accounting knowledge, Monowar and Nadia have been successfully helping people and local small businesses achieve their overall goals by maintaining integrity, trust, and confidentiality of their clients.

Charitable Work

It has been over 16 years since Monowar Syed permanently moved to Michigan, but has not forgotten his roots. He has set up a charity foundation in his father’s name which helps the people of small villages in his family’s homeland, Bangladesh. This charity organization is continuing his father’s legacy of helping the community in every way they need.
Total Solutions Accounting also makes contributions to local charitable organizations, youth sports teams, and places of worship throughout mid-west Michigan.
